  • Rose Allin

    Rose is a clinical pharmacist, recognized by the Australian and New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy in 2023. She has supported the clinical practice of general practitioners and other healthcare professionals by providing evidence-based, balanced information on drug therapy. 

    Rose has worked in a wide range of pharmacy practice settings and professional capacities including community pharmacy, education, research and service delivery in hospital, primary care, and residential aged care settings. Her interests are in the management of chronic conditions such as obesity, mental health and chronic pain and is always keen to implement strategies promoting quality use of medicines in any setting. She has been actively involved in medicines management in the field of obesity and metabolic bariatric surgery since 2018 and in 2023 undertook advanced training in clinical hypnotherapy to provide patients with the added benefits that a modern understanding of neuroscience can offer through the medium of hypnosis.

  • Joy Gailer

    Joy has over 30 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist and medicines expert, applying behaviour change techniques to translate evidence into practice. Her career has spanned acute care, primary care, aged care and research. She supports medical practitioners a by navigating complex therapeutics, taking a forensic approach to medicine related challenges and providing individualised, patient centred solutions. Joy is an advocate for the quality use of medicines and enjoys teaching and sharing knowledge; she is an invited presenter and tutor at various pharmacist, medical, dental and nursing forums. Joy’s efforts and contribution were recognised through the awards of the Australian Accredited Pharmacist of the Year and the SA/NT Pharmacist of the Year in 2015.

    Joy’s passion for assisting people make wise, informed decisions and to achieve their health and well being goals lead her to the study and practice of clinicial hypnotherapy. With an understanding of neuroscience and the infinite ability of the mind to learn new patterns of thinking and behaving, desired change is possible.
